Beating vandy big isn't making a statement to anyone who matters.
Not sure of your definition of a statement win, but the MissSt. win was far better than a Vandy win would be.
I don't know about statement, but it would noteworthy if we started the backup QB, he got a game full of developmental conference reps and sets for him under center AND we got the W........all while Levis takes the week off and gets as healthy as possible before UGA.

We're due to play a complete game. Defense is almost always lights out.
Offense is literally one block or read away on every play from ripping off chunks. If we can just consistently get all 11 functioning, everything is there for an offensive explosion.
I just hope we somehow pull this off vs Georgia or the bowl game. I don't think we need it to beat vandy or UL

That was against Ole Miss several weeks back. You must have missed it.
This. I think we get mudhole stomped by UGA either way, but if you want to go down swinging, you hope to get out REAL quick to a 14-0 lead in Q1 against Vandy and then sit Levis so he is as healthy as he can possibly be at this stage for the primetime slot game against UGA.
.....plus we get the added benefit of SEC-game experience for a back-up QB who may be leading the offense next year when Levis is slinging the ball around the NFL.
