Maryland at #3 is a bit of a reach, imo. They looked rather pedestrian against G'Town on their own floor. If not for a raucous crowd, they likely lose that one.

Maryland ,3rd bah, they barely beat a bad Georgetown team at home. Indiana way over ranked. UofL shouldn't be ranked.

Guys. IU is actually good this year. Thomas Bryant is way better than people thought, Then Farrell, Blackmon and Troy Williams make an excellent core.

I hope this year is different than the last few years when it comes to rankings and Kansas. Yes I know they lost to a ranked team, but it seems like every year they lose and drop 1 spot. Every poll when you look at the record side of the graphic there is always one team that doesn't seem to belong.

Do you see that IU fans? DO YOU?!?! Coach Tom Crean is pulling/towing/dragging the IU basketball program out of the Abyss and back up the mountain! Now leave the man alone and let him do HIS JOB!

Those Neanderthals in Bloomington don't understand how good they have it right now...

According to Pomeroy, Maryland was the 2nd "luckiest" team in the nation last year, meaning their record was was better than what should be sustainable by their stats. That's translated into being one the most overrated of the top teams this year (KP has them 27th).

FWIW California is also way overrated in most top 25s if you go by KP.

To be clear, this article is just Luke Winn's opinion, not any statistical analysis, right?

Who the hell is maintaining this website? Riddled with ads and tons of code, UI issues.

If the SI website was a celebrity, it'd be Charlie Sheen. Jesus, this site almost crapped itself trying to load.
