Many of the basic elements of coaching are the same so I think Stoops would be successful in whatever he coached. Communicating your expectations then motivating people to do them. I think Stoops is successful because he is genuine. He's not playing mad, he is mad. That is a direct reflection of how much he cares about his job and how seriously he takes his duties. He also is not a quitter and as a result, over time, our opinion of him improves because he earns it.
