imagine the work from home world if you could live anywhere you wanted, and were able to video conference, upload huge files and have signal in every park, lake or trail.

That would have almost as much of an impact on living demographics and transportation as autonomous transportation. Not to mention kill off these cable company providers that have screwed Americans for decades and it would force cell phone providers to open bandwidth on 5G to compete.
 
The deal they made with the federal government is just about expired. AT&T and MetroNet are much better options in areas where those companies have fiber optic internet available
 
Does anyone on here use UbiFi?

I cannot get anything more than 3mbs down where I live, UbiFi is something I am looking at and would be curious on any feedback.

I have signed up for the Starlink beta but that is not scheduled until the fall.

If Starlink launches an IPO I will most definitely buy in.
 
They also announced that they are raising their broadcast fee from $13.50 to $16.45 a month. If you don't know a broadcast fee is what you pay the cable company for ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox, you know, that channels that you can get for free with an antenna.
