Seen a couple of posts critical of bringing out the Special Olympics group at the end of the 3rd.
I vehemently disagree w trying to blame a poor showing last night (after the first 16 mins of game action) on that moment.
Honestly, the stadium was DEAD at the point. An embarrassing number of fans had left. The momentum was already big on ULL's side.
It was a great moment for that group. It woke up the crowd. And it was a really cool moment for all who were watching. I was more proud of that than anything else tonight.
Not going to let a dud performance by the team take that away. And certainly not going to blame that for how poorly we played.
