Sort of an article on SEC East stadiums. You may be surprised.

I loved this comment about Vandy:
"This would be a great high school stadium, but unfortunately Vandy is in the SEC."

Pretty complimentary stuff for UK, especially considering all of the negative stuff written about our eastern division rivals (especially UF and USC). It's true, the UK home field advantage can be a great one when the team is decent to good. If Stoops builds this thing up, the home field advantage will really grow. Unfortunately, bad football has often led to tepid crowds accustomed to waiting for the next bad thing to happen. I hope those days are gone.

I'm not surprised. In the SEC I've only been to Williams Brice, CWS, Neyland, Commodore and Bryant Denny. Neyland and Bryant Denny are huge. For a smaller stadium, I think CWS is better than Williams Brice. Last season I visited California Memorial @ Berkeley, which is a comparably sized stadium with a team on a similar trajectory as UK, but they were seriously lacking in energy.
