Some guy named SEC Mike on Twitter says Levis will be the 7th best QB in the SEC by the end of the season. 🤣

Only if he gets injured, otherwise it doesn't matter who says what when he has the best or 2nd best record in the East.

Wait a minute, Bennett was undefeated in the East last year, won a NC had the highest ypa by a good bit, 3nd highest qb rating in the conference, yet no one thinks he can play. Lit Bama up in the 4th quarter with the NC on the line with 2 TDs. I don't think he is a world beater, but talk about not getting any respect for his sccomplishments.

Yes. Next step is UK fans will go find his account and respond thinking they're "really showing him". Meanwhile his impression count keeps climbing. Trolls do this all the time and fanbases never figure it out. Jones built his entire business around spirit to Louisville fans. Forde and thamel and even to an extent Goodman built entire careers doing it to UK.

Jim Rome and skip Bayless made multimillionaire dollar careers from trolling.

If you ignore it altogether, no impressions and they stop shi1tposting stuff solely to get hate interactions.

It doesn't help a whole lot when a not so small portion of your own fanbase is not overly confident in him as a passing quarterback, and many seemed to believe that if they failed to win a title it would most likely be due to him being unable to carry the offense when called upon to do so.

Not that I subscribe to this, but when many in your own fanbase do/did, it makes it hard to convince others outside the fanbase.

You aren't wrong, but the thing is, he is top 5 in GA HS passing yards. He is smart, accurate, mobile and was money on 3rd down. He is also about 5'9" 175lb, which is why no one wants to give him much credit.

Great job by Stetson in '21! now, on the '22 team, would you prefer Bennet or Levis? on Ga's team.
 
Levis is better than Richardson easily but I can see the arguments for all the rest.

nope, stats won't convince me, Stetson played for Ga and Levis played for UK. Givin the choice between the two THIS year I bet Kirby might take Levis! Unless he took Stetson out of loyalty.

That's fair enough I guess but not many coaches will bench a NC winning QB. WL is a good QB, not saying he isn't, but so is SB. He gets overlooked because of his size or lack of it. Nevermind he has thevwnd highest rating of any QB in the conference and led it in ypa.

I agree that UGA would keep their guy. He won a title and he is a great passer & does not make mistakes for the most part. SB works in UGA's system and no reason to mess with success.

I love that SEC Podcast. Mike, and Cousin Shane are always very complimentary of UK. They think UK has a chance to win the East this season.

A chance to win the SEC east and dethrone Georgia with the 7th best QB in the league? That is the problem with the podcast they contradict themselves routinely.

They recently picked Florida to go 10-2 this year.

He plays every game like he is on his last chance. No one ever mentions how much the team likes him, he owns the locker room because he works so hard, it was pretty clear what it meant to him at the end of NC game.
 
I don’t think it’s a shot at Levis as much as it is our lack of proven weapons at wide receiver. These guys have said they think UK has a chance to go to Atlanta and are also extremely complimentary of Stoops. It’s just his opinion.
 
I mean, Levis might have an excellent season where he becomes a 1st rounder....yet because of our pro style balanced attack he statistically would be way behind lots of other QBs in yards & TDs. Qbs who play in pass happy unbalanced systems.

He's not gonna have better passing stats than Young. Or Hooker. Or Rogers. Jefferson plays for a Briles, look at the numbers his daddy got outbof RGIII.

Pretty shaky to put Levis behind Rattler or AR15 though

They said their predictions are all best case scenario for each team. They have UK going 11-1 only losing to GA.
