Johnny David has had his eyes on the league since he got here.
Gotta think something happens with Hump. Just with the comments he made and the meeting with Cal right after the season (I know all players do this, but his seemed to be the most talked about) Not sure if he transfers or goes back home to Australia, but I personally don't expect him to be here next year. Just a gut feeling. Really hope he sticks around though because I do think he can contribute. Maybe he sees the writing on the wall with Richards and potentially Bamba coming in.
Hopefully it's a commitment from a guard.
Isn't Cal supposed to visit Baker this week? Would be nice to get a commitment from a guard. 3 guards for next season = ugh!
Bamba will be our starting center. Starting Bamba and Richards ( no way he doesn't play over Hump) would be a nightmare against most smallish teams. Will never happen. Bamba is a college center . Coaches may tell him they will play him at the 4 and he might get a few minutes but our starting PF will be PJ Washington . Kid is a stud.I'm hoping tomorrow we get the announcement that Gabriel, SKJ, and Hump are all returning. I believe Hump will start over Richards next season, at least early on. It will be up to him to keep the spot. Who knows if that will happen. It's pretty obvious that big men under Cal have struggled early in the freshmen seasons and I don't think Richards will be the exception. Hump should benefit from that. Bamba (if we get him) would start beside him at the 4, which is what he's wanting to play.
...can't have too many?Dude was perfect from the 3 this year. They should be drooling for a sharpshooter like that.

But to answer the OP's question we are done unless Hump tests the waters. I think next season is his last regardless so it would make sense.
The ones who were aloud to play thru it played great defense. Something both Bamba and Richards both do. Plus with the updates coming out of the hoop summit Richards defensive versatility opens up the door to playing both he and Bamba together. All of Cal's centers have struggled early in the freshmen seasons, all of them. Now some of them were allowed to play through it based on being the best available player but I don't think that will be the case next season. I think Cal will give Hump the first opportunity to keep that 5 spot until he proves he can't hold on to it. Offensively Hump and Bamba could play well off each other if Hump consistently knocks down the mid-range jumper and have Bamba underneath. I've just yet to see a post player come in and be ready to play down low the way Cal expects right off the bat. Cousins, AD, Noel, Willie, KAT, Dakari, Skal, and Bam all struggled. Some had the benefit of not having much behind them.
+ the ball boys, student managers and fans in the front row.At this point I fully expect every player on the roster to have declared and hired an agent by the end of next week.
I fully expect him to enter. He would be crazy not to. To get the necessary feed back. But I fully expect him to come back unless something has drastically changed in his shot. He has already been advised by scouts to go to college and work on his shot. Doubt they give him different feed back now. This draft is ridiculously strong. He come back and goes next year he gets drafted high better shot or notIf Diallo doesn't announce he's entering tomorrow I'd feel alot better lol
Smith today I know for sure..
Wtf? You mean to tell me that we had SHOOTERS....hell's bells...far CalDude was perfect from the 3 this year. They should be drooling for a sharpshooter like that.
