...from what I'm seeing from 'them', this guy can shoot like Steph Curry or something. Coming from a 11-19 Drexel team, with only 1 other player on their roster that averaged double figures, for a team that scored 70 or more points in a game last year a whopping total of 5 times....why is it that this guy just doesn't concern me?
He took the most shots, and did post decent %'s, but being the 'best' player on a lousy team had to be the reason for that.

Oh well, I guess we should all be terrified of their makeshift roster next season.

The thing you have to watch with kids like him, is he was the main and only shooter on that team, just look at the stats. And when you go to a team where the shots will be shared it can be a different story if you miss 3 or 4 in a row. Remember Mays was also the man on his team when he came here and its hard getting into a rhythm if you are not allowed to shoot 15 to 20 times a game. He could be a player but he will find he will have to adjust.

Actually, there were quite a few on this board who were saying we should go after him when it came out that he was looking to transfer to another school. Not saying he is great or defending UL fans at all because I don't do that. Just saying he isn't a total unknown to those on this board who follow recruiting a good deal. I hadn't known much about this kid myself until he was first mentioned on this board months ago.

I'm a little surprised that more people aren't excited about Mulder. He has nice size, can light it up from deep and is extremely athletic. The only thing that would keep a guy like that from excelling in Cal's system is lack of motor and I haven't heard anything that makes me think he won't come in looking to make an impact. I also like that he has some experience under his belt. I wouldn't mind one bit if Cal made a habit of finding these guys in the JUCO ranks to come in to supplement our young guys.
