I watched the 9th inning on the laptop during our game.....UNC had a runner thrown out at the plate with one out on an incredibly close play (that made 2 outs) and their last out was a high flip to the pitcher covering 1st and he barely toe tipped the bag or the tying run would have scored.......

UNC coaches and fans were irate at both calls, but alas both were correct......broke my pea picking little heart...........NOT

Enjoyed that as much as when their basketball team loses........

Most of the NCSt fans sitting near me at the Cliff were pretty happy that UNCheat lost. The only exception is a couple sitting next to us that the husband is a UNC grad and the wife is a State grad and they claim to both like both schools. He was pretty bummed.

I am astonished that UNC lost to Davidson twice, and that they didn't even make it to Monday. I really thought UNC had a chance to win this whole thing. Very impressed that Davidson went into hostile territory and took the regional. Well done Wildcats.
