finally done. What do we think? Personally, I think this is the best looking field in the SEC now. Love, love, love the endzones!

Looks good......except.....they put the UK midfield logo and SEC logos on upside down.

JK. I think it looks good. Though in the photo the checkering is a little too subtle......needs more definition.......though, it's likely just the photo quality and not a big deal.

I'm curious about the checkerboard pattern too BlueRaider. It probably pops more when you see it in person vs. a photograph. I'm in the upper deck this year instead of endzone so can't wait to see how it all comes together. It may fade a little in the sun too over time I would presume.

Love it, exceeded my expectations after seeing the original renderings. Can't wait to see the entire thing finished.

I think it turned out awesome. I especially like the blue sidelines and the white boarder around the boundary, it really makes the entire field just stand out and WOW you.

Love it. I could not be more pleased. I like the subtleness of the checkerboard and the alternating grass. Just a classy, clean looking field. Nothing ostentatious about it.

Looks good. I can't wait to see a game played on it.

Exterior looks great, love the limestone and steel facades they are adding. It is going to look first class. Hope the product inside looks as good this fall.

It achieves what Stoops and Mitch wanted which was a classy, simple, yet with a little flare to it. I still would have liked to have seen a new graphic in the midfield than a revised UK logo, but the field looks good, will serve its purpose, and hopefully we can now get a team on it that can compete on a weekly basis. I think the boxes (when done) will really make the field and everything else "pop" even more than it does now.

As depicted, the checker board can be seen on the sideline. I am really happy they checked with green and blue, rather than blue and white.

Overall, I love it. I love the blue endzones and alternating shades of green turf. I think it gives us a unique look (which is something that's important when it comes to football in the south).

I love the fact that they made the endzones blue (another thing which gives us a completley unique look).

My only complaint (which I've mentioned previously) is the super-small midfield logo.

It makes me ready for football every time I look at this field and imagine what it will look like on TV when we're wearing our black uniforms with chrome helmets, lining up against the Auburn Tigers in a nationally-televised, ESPN Thursday night home game.

Going to look great...a couple of things that I think could've looked really cool didn't happen, but overall it will be excellent

I like how it looks like a historic football field rather than a billboard. It gives the impression that it is real grass and just has a traditional feel about it. The design gives the feeling of something solid and stable yet it is bright and clean without the garish look that some fields have.

The fact is that when most fans and spectators see this field it will be accompanied by thousands of people in the stands and players in their uniforms, the field will be the backdrop for that spectacle and as such will set the stage for what we hope to be a respected program built on a solid foundation rather than a trendy whim.

wonder if they will have American Pharaoh show up end of season or next. pretty cool to have a triple crown winner next door in versailles.

Would be pretty cool if he led our players out of the tunnel at our SEC opener against Florida or something. Would certainly add to the electric atmosphere.

Yes, and then took a "dump" on our brand new field........

I would have added white fencing around the outside planted some tobacco plants behind the end zones to add some local flavor. The team could run out of the tobacco like field of dreams.

Just not a fan of the 2-tone field, think the logo and EZs are fine. Just wished they had stayed with one shade of green. Hopefully, can make it down for a game in the next few seasons to check it out personally.

Personal preference I guess but I love the dark/light green. Will also make it easier for fans who can't easily figure out field position because of where their seats are. I mean I just made that up but sounds right? Right?

Can't wait to run on the turf after we beat Florida [banana]

Any word on the east endzone field goal post? There was talk about installing an H-shaped post but I don't know if a final decision ever came about.
