CRod also doesn't go down on first contact and is an All-SEC back. If he gives the other team seven points or puts them in a position to do so with regularity, he is not the best choice.

I don't care if the backups can't pick up a blitz or if they keep running straight into the backs of their guards. If they don't give the ball away, then that's peachy. Smoke just gave NIU free points before half. Dude's been here long enough to figure it out.

CRod fumbled a lot last year. Also carried a lot of tacklers and made himself indispensable despite handing the ball to the other teams.
