Loved it. Great experience for their backups. Stoops would have run it every play and our backup would be unprepared if called into duty. Stoops is a pus$@ and doesn’t want to hurts anybody’s heart.

Damn backup wouldn't get called into duty for Stoops. A Stoops backup quarterback is the least played position in college football.

Exactly!! It’s insane to me that The University of Kentucky Wildcats fanbase would have such low expectations for volleyball, let alone football!
If our fanbase would throw some of those expectations from the basketball side to football we would see gains. Start demanding excellence and you'll get it. Al Davis didn't build the raiders into the best franchise in football from 1970 to 2003. By being happy with Wild Card berths.

Both teams had their backups in. I’m actually glad he did it. The game was long decided. Let the backups get meaningful game reps instead of running up the gut. You never know when injuries might require any of those 22 guys to be regular starters and any experience helps.
We kept our starters in against Ball State and threw the ball down the field in the last 2 minutes and scored with 6 seconds to go.
