There was a recent small article on Bleacher Report saying that Skal Labissiere said he will be found eligible with the NCAA. However they pointed out in the article because he had transferred to several different schools that his eligibility may be an issue. Apparently as of this time he's not yet been found eligible to play by the NCAA. I think it would be sad if he doesn't get to play in college but I am paranoid enough a UK fan to believe because he has committed to Kentucky that the NCAA will try harder to find him ineligible.

With the NCAA involved there always a small part of me that wonders, can they or will they screw with us?

how many kids that are still in high school declared eligible by the NCAA since...you know....they are still in high school and haven't graduated/complete their SR year yet.

I'm in the camp that believes if Enes Kanter had signed to play for Washington University instead of UK then he would have played a year of college ball.

If the NCAA drags their feet for even a second on this...I am sure there will be MANY sympathetic stories showing the Haitian earthquake and all of the carnage that occurred with that event....that caused Skal to come to the US. The NCAA would look like total heartless b-tards by jerking him around. I don't see them being that tone deaf.

kid was trapped under his collapsed house for hours until they finally dug him out.

he is a smart kid, great student. had to sit out a year because of a bad back....tried to transfer to get more exposure. that's it. end of story.

the boogieman stories surrounding his eligibility are just that.

Kid comes off in interviews as a bright young man.I'm expecting big things from him next season.
