Yeah I doubt he is doing it against a team like this I think by late January he will be great but for the next 4-6 games i expect him maybe to average 8 and 4 and most of that will be on free throws and put backs . Lee and Poythress are head and shoulders better then him and they should be .
Not gonna happen OP. He is a bit of an enigma right now. he looks more Frosh WCS than a frosh Towns, AD, Cousins or Noel type player.
Not sure when it's going to happen with Skal, he looked better his first three games than his last few, looks like he is lost and not playing hard but I know he is trying, he needs to be a defensive enforcer around the basket even if his offense is slow to develop.
Save for that one-game explosion he had, Skal has been performing like one of the 10 worst top 10 recruits I have ever seen. He makes Chane Behanan look like an All-NBA player
You will be bashed by someone, but you're not wrong. So far, easily the worst top 10 recruit cal has brought. This was always the fear with the system. What happens when he misses on a "must" recruit?
Hopefully Skal is just messing around and joking or something.

Not that I disagree with the sentiment of him being disappointing, but saying a player sucks is lame and immature. You better hope he stops "sucking" or this team goes nowhere this season.

We had a kid in HS that was tall and athletic. Coach talked him into coming out for basketball thinking he had some talent. Kid was absolutely lost and I'm reminded of him while watching Skal. Tenative, weak and just lost in space.
Let alone college. No doubt he has a high high ceiling, but dude is not ready.
I have as many points, rebounds, and assists as Skal today with 11:15 left to play. I'm entering my name in the NBA Draft.

For those of you that remember Tom Payne, very reminiscent of a couple of games early in his career. I believe it was against Northwestern in 1971 where he had exactly ONE rebound but towered over everyone else.
