Solid joke but Barnstable Brown doesn't do silent auctions (unless they recently just started.) Unbridled Eve does a silent auction
Been there for several years covering it but it's been a couple years. Like I said unless this is something new I've never seen a silent auction at Barnstable but I have seen one at Unbridled Eve. First logistically, I don't know where they would set up a silent auction in Barnstable. From the red carpet you head up a long stairway into the house. That takes you through the kitchen out to back patio where everything takes place. The celebs are separated from the other guests and there is a stage set up for the music. There's not anywhere a silent auction could be set up from where I'm thinking since everything is done outside and it's a cluster since there are so many people and so little room.
Unbridled Eve at the Galt House has a setup with the red capert that leads into the dinner and music area with a silent auction set up to the left side where there is items like autographed Rick Pitino basketballs and other such. Not saying it didn't happen but I don't think it was at Barnstable.
