SIAP: SGA scores a career high 54 points.

You could have won a lot of money if 5 years ago, you bet someone that SGA and Tyrese Maxey would be the 2 leading scorers in the NBA for former UK players. It's amazing how good of players both of those guys have become, especially SGA.

SGA especially. Special player when it came to distribution but never thought he’d be the scoring threat he has become.

Always felt like Maxey was a lock. He hasn’t surprised me at all. Kid was born to be a superstar.

Who would have ever thought when SGA was recruited he would go on to be the best NBA player from the UK Calipari era?

You can argue maybe Anthony Davis at his peak was better, but his health really derailed his trajectory after the 2017-18 season when he finished third in MVP voting.

But right now SGA is at worst the #2 pick for MVP behind Jokic, because Jokic's stats are more obscene than ever this year. Jokic voting fatigue might benefit SGA, but I don't sense much of any of that at the moment.

I don't watch the NBA much until the playoffs, but I love Fantasy NBA basketball. UK players dominate fantasy. Here are the current 9-category overall fantasy rankings for UK players:

2-SGA
4-AD
5-KAT (3 of the top 5)
12-Maxey
16-Booker
23-Fox (6 of 23)
32-Herro
35-Murray
65-Monk
69-Bam
99-PJ
104-Cason Wallace
119-Randle
136-Quickley

Not many past that are on a fantasy roster. So roughly 10% of the players used on fantasy rosters went to UK. That is amazing, considering how many are foreign players now, and didn't go to a US college.
