Ran across this documentary on Booker. Figured some basketball deprived souls might enjoy it.

I have a feeling this may be a "I heard Adam Sandler is a Kentucky fan" moment, but it's the first time I've seen this.

Others probably have seen this already, but not me. Thanks. I'll give it a watch. Booker is one of those kids I was totally wrong about talent wise. I knew the dude could shoot the ball, but had no clue the kid would be so good early on. When you watch Booker blow by a defender to get off his shot, it still makes you wonder why the dude wouldn't use that while on D at Kentucky. Dude looked bad at times, but if he can play well enough defense to become a starter at the NBA level, the D we watched at Kentucky was from lack of effort.

NBA is far more about creating your own offense than it is defense. Surely you know that by now. It's a much more "spread offense, one on one, create your own game" than college is.

Same reason Malik Monk was a mediocre defender at best in college but will be a star/career starter in the NBA. He'll put up 20 points a game his 2nd season.

Booker can be the type of 2 you build a franchise around if you can pair the right pieces with him.

He also represents our University with the highest level of humility and class. What GM wouldn't want this guy as the face of their franchise?
