SI Top 100 NBA Players For 2015-16

Davis, top 5
Cousins, top 10
Wall, top 15

Bledsoe, Knight, Kidd-Gilchrist top 50.

I'm shocked that Kanter isn't in the top 100. Dude just signed for a near max contract...Jones and Noel, probably not big enough of a role to be considered...

Cousins at 14 is a joke...Knight should be higher, Terrence Jones should be on the list.

I agree with most all of their rankings. The only one that really jumped off the page as "NO" was Dray at 16.

Most of the one's I have second thoughts on are really, really good players that have had recent injuries, and it's always hard to incorporate that into rankings, so I let it slide.

Boogie is my favorite player of the Cal era, but I'm not sure how you can say ranking him 14th is a joke. I might put him in front of Leonard, and at this point in their careers, he's probably better than Duncan, but that's at best a 2-spot bump. Otherwise, I don't see how one could argue he should higher than anyone else on that list.

At the end of the day, being considered one of the 15 best players in the world is still a pretty big compliment.

I think his rating is actually favorable. They always give nods to guys that excel with good teams, and rightfully so. Boogie has outstanding numbers, but the Kings are garbage. AD is an anomaly because he singlehandedly dragged his team to the playoffs, and with that recent contract, there is little doubt he is a top 3 talent.

I do agree that Timmy should probably be lower, but not about Leonard. Leonard and LMA are going to killlllllll this year.

I would say the Kentucky players are 4-7 years under the average age on this list, meaning they will stay on the list and some will move forward over the next few years.

Meanwhile, near misses like Kanter and Jones will join them, and unproven talents like Randle, Towns, WCS, and Lyles are likely to break onto the list. Throw in guys like Murray and Skal who could well make the list swiftly after joining the NBA.

Bottom Line: Kentucky could easily have 15 names -- maybe more -- on that list in five years.

2020 NBA top 100...An early look

94- Randle
92- Cauley-Stein
90 - Lyles
86- Kanter
81- Jones
80- Noel
72- MKG
65- Knight
20- Bledsoe
14- Murray
11- Towns
9- Labissiere
8- Wall
6- Cousins
2- Davis

This can't be serious? Davis at 2? He's gotta be #1! Just messing, if that list came into fruition in 5 years that would be amazing! And it doesn't seem unlikely to. Just amazing what Cal has done recruiting wise.

I'm with you, Draymond is a great player, clearly a top 30 players but 16 is way too high. Funny he's rated above his teammate Klay and 13 spots higher then DeAndre who I think is far superior to Draymond.
