Should We Also Have a "Dislike" Button for Posts?

There seems to be posters who have anger management issues. A button might cut down on the clutter. Instead of 60 post nanny-nanny-boo-boo threads we could have short threads with 2 posts getting 30 dislikes apiece.
If it makes you feel better, you can always "like" and then "unlike"
It's worth a try, I'm all for experimenting for a month or so and seeing how it goes.
The message board features are a bigger issue than I'm able to tackle here. Network issue. I can tell people that there's interest in it.
with a board this size, if you aren't making a post occasionally that some people dislike, you aren't taking a stand on much

No. Just cause cry babies to cry even more. If you don't like someone, just use the ignore feature. Or just use a post to let everyone know; like this:
CUT-NETS = Dislike =

True, and logical. It seems like some posters though would just like a little something more to quickly show disgust.
I suppose if it's something that's not tracked publicly on your profile it would be okay. But if everyone can see how many dislikes you have, somebody that has a personal problem with another poster can go around just disliking all their posts and suddenly that person has racked up a ton of unwarranted dislikes.
Plus, there's already enough negativity on here as it is. Do we really need more?

I surely do not agree with him. I do admire his dedication however.
If you had a "dislike" feature, every UL, IU, Kansas, NC, Duke and other rival board troller would have a field day with every pro-Cats poster and thread. It would be a disaster of biblical proportions, I'm talking fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!
