But Monk wasn't exactly known to be a great three point shooter in high school either, was he? Wasn't that a weakness coming out of Arkansas?

He can shoot. He just ain't Lamb or Monk. BUt he is light years better then Briscoe as well. IMO he will shoot around 34% from 3 and 72% from the line . Decently respectable when mixed with his other abilities . His D is going to be redunkulous ( I made that word up).

Monk was a good shooter in high school. I think he had some crazy hot three point streaks in AAU games just like college.

You sure? I'd think if he was that, some team would have taken him lottery. I'd love to be able to shoot 34/72

Monk was always known as one of the best shooters in the class. It was after the kid decided on Kentucky a few of our fans started to think Monk couldn't really shoot well and needed to work on that part of his game. Diallo won't be as good of a shooter as Monk and that's fine. Not many are. Let's just hope Diallo can become known as an average shooter. That would be good enough for our team to be one of the very best in the nation.
