My father has health concerns this year that are not going to allow him to attend the games, so I'm selling his tickets for him. They are Section 221, Row R, seats 16 & 17 (2 seats from the aisle). Face value for the entire season ticket package for both seats (which includes the 2 exhibition games) is $1968.

I live in Lexington...can deliver tickets in local area or meet you at Rupp prior to Monday night's game.

Email me at bigbluediehard@gmail.com if interested.

Thanks!

Robbie

Good luck finding a buyer at that price Robbie. I had a pair of Sec 231's (midcourt) that I put a LOT of effort trying to sell via Craigslist at $1900 total, and basically I could hear the crickets chirping. Zero interest, not even any insultingly low offers. Nada.

I know, UK has nearly double the price of season tickets over the last 6 years. I'm pretty much at my limit now of what I'm willing to pay, but every game is still a sellout so I guess there are still plenty of people willing to pay $1900+ for a pair of season tickets. I've had several people express interest and a couple that plan to buy at least half of them...would prefer to sell them all to one person though.

UK has a built in system for posting and selling individual game tickets throught Ticketmaster I think? I've used it a few times and it is fine.
You could probably sell 10 or so of the bigger games on there (UL, LSU, FLA, etc.) and get close to $2000, then give the other 10 away.
The problem is that the average person that wants to watch a game at Rupp can't easily do $2000 as a lump sum. Other people won't want to "feel" like they are paying for the exhibition games and early season cupcake games either (while completely ignoring that they are paying $140 for two tickets to UL vs. UK).

Thanks for the advice capnmonkey. Does going that route transfer the tickets electronically to the buyer without me having to make arrangements to deliver the tickets to each buyer?

Don't scalp them to random people on stub hub or ticketmaster. Break them up into "packages" and sell on here at face value.

I live in Chicago, so season tickets aren't doable for me. But I'd be interested in buying a couple games individually. Keep me in mind if you decide to split them up.

Yes, electonic transfer, you don't have to do anything beyond listing them.

Thanks cap. I would like to break them up into smaller packages and sell them for face to people that I'm certain are UK fans, but nobody wants to buy the games against the directional schools, so I'd never be able to recoup my father's investment in the tickets. Doing as cap suggested would allow me to recover his costs and limit the amount of effort required on my part to deliver the tickets to multiple people...and provide me with 2 extra tickets to the cupcake games.
