Miss. State rallies from down 3-0, to win 4-3 over Arkansas. Although the game did not go into extra innings, it was a 4 hour affair, and pushed the start of game 2 back an hour to 3:00 pm.

Final scores... Indiana 5 Mich. 4, UNC 10 Boston Col. 0, Wake Forest 5 Ga. Tech 4, Texas Tech 4 Baylor 1.
and TCU killing Oklahoma in the 8th 7-0. This win will likely move them above at least LSU, if not us as well. Kind of stinks that they get another RPI top 25 win in the loser's bracket of this tournament.
South Carolina is killing missouri. If we can win tonight, we would be in great shape b/c I think USC could beat LSU and their pitching staff would be really depleted by Saturday.
Tonight is just huge. No doubt about it. A win tonight gets us to Saturday and we get a day of rest, plus it is possible that a win today guarantees us a national seed. Just hope that Hjelle is on his game and that UK hits Lange as well as they have some of the other top SEC pitchers this season.
TCU game is over and they jumped back over LSU into 7th. UK remains at 6th in the RPI. So, again, tonight's game is huge because it could really put some distance between UK and LSU, TCU and the rest of the national seed contenders.
In our three game series had 52 hits and 25 runs! Hopefully that happens tonight and Hjelle is on fire! I think a win tonight should sew up that national seed.
I've never understood why, in a double elimination tournament like this, they do not cross the winners or losers across the bracket. You could move the losers to the losers bracket of the other side which would allow two seeds from the same side of the bracket to meet in the finals. That would help in cases where the hottest two teams at the end of the season ended up in the same side of the bracket.
