I created a spreadsheet to easily track who plays who & where, and who has beaten who and where. After 1/3 of the SEC slate, we know the standings: Auburn 0 loss, Bama & Ole Miss 1 loss, UT & UF & UK & TAMU & Missouri 2 losses, and so on. But below are some things I notice looking at the schedule spreadsheet:
- Auburn, Bama, UT, & UF have played a combined 2 HOME games vs the top 7 (excluding Missouri); but UK has played 3 such HOME games ==> UK has the easiest remaining HOME schedule among the contenders
- On the ROAD, it is Miss St & Missouri & TAMU with the easiest remaining schedules; TAMU not playing at UT, Auburn or Bama and already been to UK; Miss St only goes to Bama & Ole Miss since already been to Auburn & UT; Missouri only going to UT & Miss St having already been to Auburn & UF
- Auburn, Bama, UT have not played each other yet, but have 5 games coming
- add Florida and UK, and those 5 have only played 3 times so far (UK was in 2 of those games), and they have 11 games remaining (Auburn 5, Bama 5, UT 5, UK 4, UF 3)
- Auburn (5-0) has yet to play Auburn/Bama/UT/UF/UK/TAMU/OleMiss, but 8 of their remaining 13 are vs those
- UK (3-2) has 7 of remaining 13 games vs Vandy/Texas/Okl/Ark/LSU/USC
- Texas (2-4) has already played @UF, @TAMU, Auburn, Bama, Missouri
Also, looking at our NET. We are currently 11th. With 10 Quad 1 games (6-4). We briefly had a Quad 2 win (Lipscomb) but after moving up last week, they dropped down 2 spots back to Q3.
Of our remaining 13 games, 2 of the 6 HOME games are Q1, 3 are Q2, and 1 is Q3; and all 7 ROAD games are Q1. So in total we have 9 Q1, 3 Q2, & 1 Q3 game remaining.
