SEC refs are criminal

It's just the league office sending a message to stoops to finally find an offense after 12 years

Refs haven't been the problem tonight, it's tempo on offense (way to slow) and soft defensive philosophy. Our discipline and composure is the biggest problem and that stuff is a reflection coaches, particularly the HC.

I never blamed the loss on the refs. If you don’t think the SEC refs are bad, then quite frankly you’re an idiot.

On Cooks TD run they differently held.
They held Walker all night
But it didn’t cost us the game.

We was terrible and probably deserved most of that. But there was one penalty that really costs us that probably should not have been. On the fake punt our radio guys and the guy on the sideline said that the receiver pushed Phillips off. They said it was very obvious and the ref just stood there looking at it and let it go. That non call was when it all fell apart. If you watch the replay Phillips swings his arm out like he was pushed off. Also, I doubt MO played that clean of a game. An example, when Saunders drilled the QB, Cook got up and took a swing at Saunders which caused Saunders to knock him back down. Since when can you take a swing at a guy? Also, holding call could be called just about anytime and are a lot of times close calls. Something that objective should only be called if super obvious. Coxes two holds on replay looked pretty picky to me.

The horrendously bad PI right when we retook control of the game was a backbreaker. That was ridiculous
I called that the instant we scored. I told those I was watching it with they would call a PI on 3rd down to extend Mizzou's next drive and sure enough.

I don't by into the vast anti-Kentucky football and basketball officials conspiracy theories. Do they make a bad call or miss one occasionally? yes but the quality of SEC officiating including replay is infinitely better than it once was. The fact that one team played cleaner than the other doesn't mean the officials are bias. Trying to blame the officials for the shat sandwich the team served up Saturday is a bit lame IMO. This team has committed a high number of infractions all season long, some ridiculously stupid, this game was just a bit worse than others.

If anything that was offensive PI, The UT/A&M game was just as bad they missed 3 facemask calls and at least 2 PI calls. After watching that game I thought we might get a decent crew

I definitely saw the missed facemask late that was plain as day and probably cost a&m the game.

Did we lose because of the ref? No.

Are SEC officials TERRIBLE? Yes, yes they are. Both are true.

Agree to disagree on the quality of officiating, especially in basketball. We're not the only fan base in CBB to complain about our repeating SEC officials *cough* Teddy Valentine/Doug Shows *cough*
