So glad he chose LSU over Duke. By far the weirdest class of all time as far as choosing schools.
I honestly think that the majority of these players were mentally week and didn't want to thrive. Simmons us probably a good guy but I don't think he has the inner fortitude to be great.

Remember his taunts and rants early this season when he said "You don't have to play for a top 5 school, Im proof that top players can have the same success with a team, not a top 5 program team, more players will do what I do and go to LSU's instead of Kentucky's and Dukes".....remember that?? He only proved that he is wrong. He will not even get to experience playing in the NCAA tournament because he chose to go to LSU, instead of the Kentuckys and Dukes.

Scam Newton......he can only go on and on about the color he was born with for so long. I think the Panthers schedule will actually be tough from here on out, they won't get the Duke treatment of a walk.
labissiere pulled simmons to the floor as they were going up the court after a free throw attempt on the previous possession. Doesnt mean he should have have hit labissiere, just stating what happened beforehand.
I got that part, i was referring to the issue of where he should have gone and why he said it, should have known you knew that.
My main point was about Simmons comments, his comments about going to LSU and the anti-UK/Duke/big 5 schools come back to bite him. And his shots at UK and drake, etc. Just saying he is arrogant. Hell of a player, but he's an idiot. And you are right, Skal did pull him to the floor. But, now that we know Skal is uncoordinated and falls often (lol), if you watch the replay, Simmons was elbowing Skal in the chest 2 straight possessions and then Skal attempted to block him out but when Simmons moved Skal stumbled and while going down he grabbed ahold of Simmons to break his own fall, pulling Simmons down with him. Skal then bumped Simmons while running down the floor (intentionally). They were going at it all night.

A guy like him should be playing at UK, Duke, UNC, Kansas, Louisville, not LSU. He doesn't get as much exposure, and he wont even play in the tourney which is sad. Shaq went there but it was a different era. Back then players played 3 or 4 years, most of them for 4. And LSU was a top 3 team in the country. Simmons goes there now, when they stink, and have a horrible coach. Blows me away that some of the best players in last years class chose to go to non traditional basketball schools, and some wont even make the tourney.

Could you imagine the level of skank UofL would have ordered for a Ben Simmons visit?
I think that kid coasts. He does enough that it doesn't look like he's not trying at all. He plays zero defense. He attacks the rim just enough, but it's rarely ever to draw any fouls. Yes, he's putting up very good numbers, but he's protecting himself. There is just to much video evidence(dont know how many games they've played).
If true, he should have gone to UNC, play ball, no classes, OAD on good team and get an associate degree.
