Many of you talked about how adding a new state (like Virginia or NC) would add so many new houses to the SEC Network.
This is now showing to not be the case. Cable is dying and cords are being cut. The only thing the SECN had going for it was that it was getting put on the base package automatically. That’s not the case anymore and people have to just want it now with a higher tier.
They made a lot of money just lumping the SECN on the base package…but now I bet you see more an more it becoming a premium option where they’re going to price it heavier…where it comes to fan interest rather than just number of TV markets in a state.
