In the NFL they say the production of the Quarterback can make or break the Head Coach. In College there are more styles of play so a lot of College Coaches can survive average to poor QBs. But is the lack of consistent QBs in the SEC ultimately hurting the conference in football? At the end of the day there was one QB in the SEC this season (Kelly at Ole Miss) that looked like a good college QB on a consistent basis. All of the other QBs in the SEC played like Donkeys this season. And I don't know if it is going to be much better next season. The SEC is really hurting right now for good QBs. The SEC has the cream of the crop at every other position on the field with the exception of the QB and I think it is one of the reasons it was a down season for the conference.
