Bad Losses

Georgia....0-1....lost to Chattanooga at home
Alabama....1-1....lost to Dayton by 32
Arkansas....1-1....lost to Akron at home
Mississippi State...1-1....lost to Southern at home,,,Getting smoked by Miami on neutral floor
Ole Miss...2-1...lost to George Mason on neutral court

Good Wins

Kentucky...3-0...beat Duke on neutral court

Other early season games

Auburn....1-1.....beat UAB....lost to Colorado
Missouri....2-1.....lost to Xavier
Tennessee......1-1.....lost to Georgia Tech

LSU, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Florida and South Carolina have all done what they are supposed to do, beat the hell out of bad teams. I think South Carolina may surprise some people this year and make the NCAA tournament.

Your conference strength and RPI are determined by these out of conference games. These early losses every year is why SEC teams get no credit for beating one another in conference. Win some of these games early it changes the narrative from man the SEC sucks so bad that you never know who is going to lose, to man the SEC is good this year teams are beating up on one another.

Yeah it's early...but I'm not sold on South Carolina or Florida. I think UK, LSU, Vandy, and Texas A&M are tournament teams. Florida and South Carolina are giant question marks and the other 8 teams are dumpster fires. (Edit: I do have a ton of respect for Pearl's coaching ability so if he cobbled together a decent team I wouldn't be shocked but not likely.)
