The way this game ended, with Pat Adams basically handing the win to A&M, is just another example in a season full of questionably officiated SEC road contests. It is a sad state of affairs to EXPECT to be flat-out cheated in road contests. I mean, it does not get any more obvious than what happened in the A&M game.

The SEC is a second rate basketball conference, and always will be, because of horrendous officiating and lack of fan interest in games not featuring Kentucky.

We don't need the SEC, but they sure as hell need us to sell out games. Even in our worst seasons, we fill Rupp every game. Win or lose.

A rule is a rule. SEC has nothing to do with it. It was the right call, unfortunately.

The SEC could completely fold everyone's basketball program and still survive. i believe you overvalue basketball a bit. SEC is a football league. Always has been and always will be.

every other conference protects it's top tier teams at all costs, the SEC on the other hand sees us as a spring board for other teams tourney hopes

Yeah, it's out of the realm of reason and probably not even possible, but it would behoove UK to go independent in basketball.

We should have went to ACC a long time ago when CM Newton was interested. Better for us in basketball because there is at least UNC and Duke. And, much better for us in football too.

I use to be a supporter of the SEC, but that has faded over the years. My only hope is that the SEC Network will help put more pressure on schools to invest in bball. Yes, it will always be a football conference but there is no excuse for how some schools treat basketball. This is a power 5 conference, let's act like it. I think some schools are going in the right direction, so the conference could look much different come 5-8 years.
