Just got my season ticket order by email, and kickoff luncheon via Zoom is scheduled today. I am going to attend for a while anyway, hopefully, I will hear something that will give me some optimism for the season.

I believe season tickets went up this year and that they are requiring a relatively small K-Fund donation for certain seats that they didn't require it for in the past.

That may be right, not due until 1-13-22 so I really did not look too closely.

We ought to meet up if you are in town for a game or two, I live within walking distance of the baseball stadium

Season will be on us really soon.

Yea, February 18th I believe. This will be the second time since 2019 that UK starts the season on the road against an OVC team. Kind of interesting.

Would really like to see UK get into another one of the early season tournaments. I think those are good measuring sticks.

Definitely. I try to drag my wife and daughter to at least one or two games a year. I was thinking it might be good to take in a weekend and also take my 5 year old to Keeneland, but it doesn't look like the schedules will match up all that well. UK plays Ole Miss at home the first weekend of April, but Keeneland doesn't open until the 2nd weekend. UK then has 2 road series before finishing April at home against Vandy. Keeneland, I believe, always ends on the last Friday of the month, so the only day that racing and baseball coincide in Lexington seems to be that last Friday. Interesting.

Anyway, I will let you know when we decide to head that way for a game/series. Be good to meet you.

I definitely won't be renewing mine. I will actually go to the stadium when I see an improvement in the SEC and I won't be attending the cupcake games at the beginning of the season because all that does is get my hopes up. Ha!
