Analysis: There's not much to say, but I thought folks might like to know a little bit about this opponent. Ottowa won't be much of a challenge to UK. This game is being played solely because Mitch Barnhart is an alumnus of Ottawa. They have a huge number of players in their program. They have 2 JV teams that they draw from, which is one reason their key players are pretty much all juniors and seniors. Hollis Mitchell is the lone exception to that rule.
They do not list any of their weights on the roster. I think one reason for this may be their starting center, John O'Con. He's a big boy, let me tell you. I'm guessing he's well over 300lbs. It may be tough to move him around down low for our guys. He's about the size of an NFL left tackle. To see a picture of the team, check here: http://www.ottawabraves.com/roster/0/1.php
From the looks of the stats from that first game, against an NAIA D1 school, Baker struggles with shooting the ball pretty badly. They shot 33% from the floor and 15% from 3pt range. If they shoot like that tonight, the game will be over by the first timeout. They also lost the rebounding battle 44-36.
Their leading scorer in the game was Marshon Norfleet, the 6-1 Sr guard. He scored 22 in the game but had to put up 19 shots to get there. He also got to the FT line quite a bit (10-12), which means he took even more than 19 shots. So, I'd say he's their main offensive threat. Oakes appears to be the next most likely threat offensively. O'Con seems to be a space eater and rebounder more than anything else. He only played 16 minutes in that first game. I'm certain conditioning is the primary issue for him. He did manage 5 points and 8 rebounds on his time on the floor. We may see Logan Bullinger in the starting line-up tonight, to give them a little bit more size. He was their 6th man in that first game but he actually played more minutes than O'Con.
Prediction: In the words of Clubber Lang... "PAIN!"
