They are terrible. Leavitt will be a huge help but Young and Jackson are a year away. West and Mosier at guards are unwatchable.
they are awful for sure. When you have Swindle starting 2 years in a row, you know you have major problems.
400 yards rushing and we are bashing the offensive line and it's coach.
You obviously haven't watched a game and just read stat lines. Look we have backs that the likes of Charlette can't deal with. Almost all those yards were on big plays. Almost all of them the backs broke tackles in the backfield . Go watch our pass protection. They were rushing just 3 defenders and destroyed our pass protection all night. Our line was terrible despite the rushing yards.
So no matter what happens the offensive line sucks and so does the coach. It looks foolish to bitch and moan tonight. Just proves that no matter what happens some will be unhappy.
Fire the coaches and Mitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why don't we just enjoy the win and quit bitching. We won and I've never thought any win was a bad thing.

What you do is look at the areas that need improving. If you just sit back and pat each other on the back and proclaim how good you are your going nowhere. What you will have is a bowlless season.
Last year everybody was thumping their chests over beating UT martin. Their was a few on this board that said hold your horses we have some problems as the D did not look good as we have up a chunk of yards. Others said who cares we won enjoy it we are awesome!!!
What you see as small cracks against the sister Mary's blind and handicapped will be new Madrid fault line cracks agains a better opponent.
It's that simple.
That's why I would never hire anybody that couldn't see improvements that needed to be made to make a better product.

So oline coach sucks after UK has put up nearly 700 yards of rushing past 2 games...one against a VERY good run defense. Yeah pass blocking is not great but those olinemen have been opening some big holes and we all know that the 2 tackle positions are severely undermanned.
Good lord, this post is so full of wrong that I don't know where to start.
1. Our backs ran through holes the size of Texas last night.
2. Pass protection wasn't great last night, but they hardly destroyed our pass protection all night.
We all realize that we didn't play a good team. Yet it was still nice to see them play well in some areas.
Some people just need to cut out the hyperbole, positive and negative.
there is no question our run-blocking is way better than pass blocking. I saw that from the beginning of the season. We need to ride Boom, Horton, and JoJo to a win over UL.
Swindle's mistakes seems to come when we have a good gain or first down. Evidently he does a good job and grades out on film in between his penalty's because the staff has stuck with him.
I believe Saturdays game was the first he has not had a penalty. In fairness to him most of his mistakes have been positive in that he is too anxious and he is improving on that. Pulling for Swindle.

Microwave society. It takes a LONG while to build a competitive program coming from the trash heap like we were in before Stoops. It's even harder at Kentucky due to the conference we are in. I'm grateful for what Stoops has done here. I've always said I'd trade some basketball success for even a trip to the SEC Title game. A lot of people easily forget where we were. Sure, we've had scattered success over the years, but nothing like we have now.

The conversation revolving around Yenser, at this very moment, is damn-near identical to that involving Coach Schlarman just a few years, ago.
I think he was talking about Schlarman's death and it potentially being disrespectful in that regard.
I do think you have a good parallel of a story here......but personally I would've mentioned it politely in a new thread rather than bringing up a thread with this title and vitriol.

No. Lots of great people have tales about how awful they were thought about by dumbass idiots, and eventually proving them wrong. Like when you read early reviews of the Gettysburg address is not disrespectful of Abraham Lincoln. It's usually a nice compliment of how they persevered.
What this really is, some people hate the idea they could have cold takes exposed. Don't even like that true bare minimum amount of being accountable for over the top criticism. "How dare you prove i was wrong. Don't you understand, I was angry and stupid."
To me it was how it was presented. Instead of resurrecting a thread titled "Schlarman Sucks" a few yrs after his passing, I would have started a new thread that said, "Hey, it's possible that Yenser still could end up ok. Remember that at one point some people were critical of Schlarman."
