Come on DORIAN! No excuse, dropped a TD last week, and again this week, both lead to a score for the other team. Love Baker, but damn man!

Not on Baker. Throw was too high.
THat was a pass interference.TBCat, im talking about the DROP in the end zone brother
Very true UF receivers are simply making tough catchesDifference in the game - their guys have caught everything thrown their way. Our guys haven't caught a thing.
In Baker's defense, that could have been called PI on Hargreaves, too, b/c he ran into Baker before he looked back.
This is what I thought after rewatching gameIn Baker's defense, that could have been called PI on Hargreaves, too, b/c he ran into Baker before he looked back.
NO!!!!...defense played winning fb...9 pts in the last 6 qtrs...that will get you beat 99.9% of the timeThat dropped pass was solely on baker. That said, this was a team efforting a loss the entire game.

***THIS*** It actually happened twice, but it is very difficult for a receiver who is being interfered with to that degree to shed the defender and still catch the ball. That's why there is a rule against it, and if the refs do their job there, we likely score 7 on the next play, and at the very least, 3. Not only did this rob points from us, but it also made us throw away from Hargraves as the night went on, limiting the field of play. The Cats had their chances, but the special treatment of Hargraves was as a bigger deal than most people realize. In Baker's defense, that could have been called PI on Hargreaves, too, b/c he ran into Baker before he looked back.
In his defense, Baker did make a number of very difficult catches on those slants at South Carolina with a defender draped on his back, so I don't think it's entirely fair to say that he has bad hands. He's had two really critical drops, but he's a huge target and I believe will help us win a lot of games. He's still very young and developing...hopefully the drops will be a thing of the past.
