Not enough elite talent on this team for Calipari to be able to win... Will be a nice team ,but I think they're sweet 16 elite 8 at best because once again like I said there isn't enough elite NBA talent on the team...

Who can score other than Murray and Ulis...inside guys way too soft...not enough bullets in the pistol...have maybe 2 and Cal needs 6-8...
To back Danny we are lacking offensive players outside of the guards and Briscoe can't shoot at all. Skal is a long ways away just not physical...needs to play Willis more he can at least score. His play on inbounds was no worse than Tyler or Poythress watching a guy lay it in.

I don't disagree with the ceiling for this team. I just don't see the consistency on the perimeter outside of Ullis, Labissere looks vastly overrated and soft and Marcus Lee is what he is: an offensive rebounding athlete with limited skills.
The only bright side is we have a puncher's chance with Ullis. He's that good but I just don't see an NC caliber team. Hope I'm wrong because the Final Four runs have been great and all but it's time to win another. Too much talent has passed through Lexington under Calipari thus far (and while it's extremely difficult to win one) I'd really like both to get at least a tad bit closer to UCLA's total and for Calipari to win his second.

This is going to be like 2010-11. Get ready for some growing pains but by the end of the year Cal will have them competing for the title. Our two biggest talents haven't even touched their potential ( Murray and Skal)

People are so hot and cold on this site. I'm 55 and a UK alum (class of 82) and have been a Cat fan all my life but I've never seen such negative, and then turnaround positive posts since I viewed my first UK forum many, many years ago. Fair weather fans are really annoying. Man up, grow a pair and quit this sensitive crap that is so prevalent these days. Be a fan! Yeah I have times when I'm discouraged but it passes quickly.

Not really. We will lose some games and this is one that I'll be ok with. We just need to lose less than 5 so we get a good seed.
