If they are going to take 3 minutes to check the clock at the end of games so they can get a tenth of a second back on the clock then both teams need to be on the opposite side of the court from their coach. It's just the referees giving teams a free time out.

I been saying this ever since it cost Butler an NCAA tournament game against Marquette a few years back. Both teams need to remain on the court and away from the coaches during any kind of ref review.
