I just know of Roy Marble because I keep up with Iowa basketball a little bit as family lives in Iowa kind of sad hearing Roy Devin Marble's dad passed away. Roy Marble made Iowa basketball relevant in the late 1980's. He scored over 2,100 points. I remember watching him play in the Big Ten games especially against IU. I was surprised when I read Iowa had not retired his jersey. If not Roy Marble, then who for Iowa basketball? RIP Roy you were a fine basketball player.
