Thoughts and prayers for Roy Kidd. Heard from a EKU staffer that hospice has been called to see him through his final days. Hell of a coach, and hell of a life up to his 92nd year.

Sad to hear. I was just talking about him earlier when they were showing accomplishments from their glory days during our game. Wish they had credited him. I roomed across the hall from his son at EKU.

Yeah, it was all over the news 2 days ago that he was moving to hospice. A true legend.

My sister texted me that he died.

He always had good teams at Eastern and was a very good coach. I remember he applied for the Kentucky job a couple of times and probably would have done as good a job or better as the coaches we had at the time if he had gotten the chance.
