Not sure about J Jones. He was a super senior.

I wouldn't count out Rodriquez just yet. Depending on what he hears from teams, it might make more sense for him to come back. RBs in the NFL have seen their draft status fall as a whole. He most likely is 4th-5th round prospect. I don't know what his NIL numbers are, but it might be more lucrative to come back a season and take advantage of that one more season. He most likely would still be a 4th-5th round prospect in the next draft class as well, but this would give him a higher earning potential.

After the bowl game, he will have close to 600 carries for his career, and the way he runs he takes a beating (and gives one) every time he carries the ball. Could be a factor in his decision.

Updates plugged into OP regarding super seniors. Lots of key contributors on defense moving on. But unlike Oline, we rotated a lot of young talent (largely due to injuries) and they gained tons of experience. So I feel much better about the defense than offense going into 2023.

Weaver is one kid that should seriously consider returning. I realize he walked through SR Day, but that elbow injury slowed him down. He needs to put on about 20 more lbs of muscle to get him ready for the next level.

It will be interesting to see where he grades out at. Would LOVE to see him return.

Crod accepted invite to senior bowl and Jones is a super senior out of eligibility.

I'd avoid the senior bowl if I were him. He's got nothing to prove there, and it's a huge risk playing and practicing for it. The NFL knows who he us and what they'd be getting.

What he needed to show, and hasn't as much as he could have, are his hands out of the backfield. That was big last season, but mostly abandoned this season. Another head scratcher

Updated for D. Harris transfer announcement. Also added position and classification info.

3 WR’s already hitting the highway, plus T. Robinson graduating. Going to be a lot of new faves in that position room.

Wouldn't Robinson get another year? He's played 4 years but the covid year doesn't count, correct?

Update for Keaton Upshaw hitting the transfer portal today. I think Bates also thanked fans for his time here and couldn't wait for a "new chapter" after the Louisville game, so take that as you will.
