At one point in the first half, Charlotte missed a shot in transition, and the Sacramento rebounder tried to throw an outlet to a teammate about 3/4 court away. Rondo intercepted the pass at midcourt, and then he threw the pass to the teammate still chasing toward the basket and got the assist.

Might be the first time I've ever seen a guy "steal" an assist from a teammate.

He's now sitting at 4,937 assists on his career, which is remarkable given the amount of time he's missed due to injuries. I really hope he plays another 7 or 8 years. Would love to see him rank among the 10 in career assists.

Don't see anything wrong with Tubby saying that. At 6'1 Rondo was the best rebounder on that team.

Rondo is a freak. Always has been. I know most here thought the dude couldn't put up the same stats he used to put up, but now I'm thinking most were just wrong and the dude is still one of the elite guards in the world.

that championship he won and his performance with kings this year will lock him in as a hall of famer. His triple double total should get him in, in my opinion.

Rondo is still a difference maker. I thought he and Collison might clash, but they do well together.
