Rondo waived by Bulls

He is def going to get picked up. He's still good.
He's still an excellent ball player despite his "attitude." He will be picked up, and quickly imo

The Spurs, Cavs, Raptors and Pelicans are all potential teams that could sign Rajon Rondo.
I would love for the Cavs or Pelicans to pick him up. He would fit perfectly on either team.
Pelicans desperately need to. They're in a terrible position of having to overpay Holiday just because there weren't any other viable options. Because of salary cap minutiae and other bad contracts, they'll have to pay holiday like 25 million a year, and while he's above average he isn't worth that. Rondo will already be paid by the Bulls this year so he may sign for way less.
Plus cousins and rondo love each other. Just google Rondo and Cousins. They're the perfect disgruntled match.
Cavs are a bad fit because LBJ needs a PG who can shoot the three. Rondo won't be effective with LBJ playing point forward. He'd be amazing lobbing it to AD and DMC. Give rondo 10 or 15 mil for 2 years instead of Holiday 25 mil for 5.

I'll always have tons of respect for Rondo. I'll always remember him for representing Kentucky in the NBA during a time before Cal when we needed it.

I'm on the same page. Plus, he didn't get that ring for riding the pine. Celts wouldn't have that Championship without him. Both Cousins and KG love the guy. That's good enough for me. Someone will pick him up. Hope it's the Pelicans!
He'd be a great playmaker off the bench for the Cavs. He's big in big moments and he respects other brilliant basketball minds.
