1- Roman Harper's comments were goofy to be honest. No problem to pick UF to win..but to call UK soft is sort of dumb at this juncture. Like have you watched UK football for past 5 years?
2. Jordan Rogers claims Spencer Rattler is #2 QB in SEC.....that is going to be a pretty dumb statement when the season plays out.
3. Tebow...always pick the Gators and talks about "playing with heart", etc....but never can break a game down for spit.
I get former SEC stars are cool and it is fine as it obviously works for SEC Network. But most of these analysts are pretty bad at breaking the game down. No better than Bob from Jamestown or Phyllis from Mulga AL.

I know people don't want to hear this, but I am not sure why they are so mad at Harper over this. For one, an analyst will say things to cause conversation, that is their job, but, he said we played soft after week 1 compared to what he knew of UK, not that we were soft. Now, he is saying we played up to what he was used to seeing from us, physical football. Fans tend to hear what they want to hear, but that is how I took it. IMO, he wasn't wrong, we did have a rough week 1, especially upfront and we got back to playing more of the physical style we are all used too, especially in the second half of the Florida game. With all of that being said, I appreciate the motivation so I am good either way lol

I'm glad his comments fire the team up, but I just see him as one of the many blathering talking heads whose opinions really mean nothing. I wouldn't even know who he was if not for UK fans going on about him.

I mean this really all plays very well for Roman Harper. He's got a lot of people talking about him and following what he says. He can make everybody mad all he wants but when people are like "LOOK HOW WRONG YOU ARE" and he doubles down and people keep talking he's the one winning here. His job is to be looked at.
