I was listening to the playback of the postgame show and jones said they may be hurt or he was wondering if they were. Does anybody know?
Hope they are okay, Kentucky is already thin at that positionStoops mentioned injuries making wide recievers thin as well in the postgame
Doubt the injuries have contributed thus far.Im wondering if that explains the drops? All we heard and saw during spring and fall was those guys making catches and now they just aren't.
Unlikely. Drops become contagious and really kill confidence. You can see it Learys eyes today. I feel like if Brown brings in the TD Leary has a better game. Miss a couple throws then your guys drops a perfect pass really messes with QBs head.Im wondering if that explains the drops? We don’t have a QB capable enough to get them the ball consistently, that said, Brown and Key had some horrible drops. All three of them appear to have their feelings hurt right now.......hope it is not a season injury issue for them.
Leary is not playing his best right now for sure.We don’t have a QB capable enough to get them the ball consistently, that said, Brown and Key had some horrible drops.
Oh that's garbage, so far in 2023 there have been 10 good catchable balls dropped for every 1 that was delivered inaccuratelyWe don’t have a QB capable enough to get them the ball consistently, that said, Brown and Key had some horrible drops.
Stoops was already preparing for Georgia when UK bossed 23-0.Shortly after he was shaken up, I noticed Brown running about a 10 yard full speed "zig zag drill" on the sideline with Stoops watching. As far as I could tell BB looked good doing it. Afterwards Stoops went up to him, said something, and Brown took his helmet off. I'm pretty sure BB never went back in.
My speculation, it looked like BB was trying to show the head man that he could go back in, but Stoops was shutting it down. If it was a tight game guessing he may have returned so kudos to Barion for being tough. Coach was probably already envisioning our D closing it out and didn't want to risk further injury.
