Bamba comes in at #2.

Interesting to note that if Bamba does not come to UK it will be the first time Cal has not had a top 5 player at UK. Vanderbilt at #13 would be the lowest highest rated recruit under Cal.

13. Jarred Vanderbilt
14. P.J. Washington
16. Nick Richards
21. Quade Green
31. Shai Alexander

247 and Scout rankings are coming soon

Whether they rank Diallo or not, I consider him a freshman and he is def top 10.

Good point...not sure why they started removing guys (like Smith at NC St last year) when they hadn't played.

247 still lists Diallo at #9

doubt there are 12 players better than Vanderbilt, but whatever.

Why does Rivals lock in their final rankings with one major all-star event still left to play? Doesn't make sense to me.

I think Vanderbilt should find his way into the top-10, but I like where the rest of them are ranked. Maybe it will be a good thing if he comes in with a chip on his shoulder.

Jarred Vanderbilt will be a top 10 pick in the '18 draft but isn't ranked top 10 in his class. That's just weird.

There's not a single scenario where I'd take Billy Preston ahead of Vanderbilt or Washington. Jaren Jackson is too high just because of the season LaLu had.

Brandon McCoy is too high. So is Trae Young. Trent is too low. Troy Brown is too low.

Really, this class is a big cluster of sameness from about 6-18.

I think we end up with bamba and maybe the transfer, but it will be hard to get smith if the buzz about him and Michigan state are true. Glad we got baker. I could care less that he's ranked 78th the boy can shoot and you know you can never have too many shooters. Hopefully he will be patient in waiting his turn but I think he will see the court this yr at times especially when we need some big shots from downtown. Glad cal isn't afraid to take a guy ranked in the 70s. It's amazing how baker never even considered uk till he left cal and we called him and he commits. Does anyone know if he ever visited campus?

Vanderbilt out of the top 10 is almost laughable and any point guard over sexton at this point is equally laughable.

I still think PJ Washington is being underrated but that may be the kool aid talking.

Yeah, they don't consider him in this class. But for me he is. And I've thought he was a top 5 player in the class for a long time, before he came here.

6What are the chances Duval plays a minute on a campus this fall anyway?

Well considering he will be signing with Duke or Kansas, I'd say pretty damn good. Probably explains why Cal never went after him. He knew he would never be cleared to play here. Damn National Corrupt Athletic Association and their double standards :uzi:

So much wrong with that list. Bamba is finally where he should be, but Vanderbilt is a top 10 player and it's ridiculous to even suggest he's not. Washington is a top ten player. No doubt about it. Knox should be abound 15 imo.

One of rivals worst jobs in a while.
