The Watford shot at their place. They were once again celebrating it and show on reruns as if it was a championship. Even though we knocked them out on the Sweet 16 later that year. I figured some of the guys here would get a kick out of them continuing to celebrate a December win from 4 years ago. What?
actually it's pretty hilarious. And, kind of sad, too.The Watford shot at their place. They were once again celebrating it and show on reruns as if it was a championship. funny thing about that - if you ever read about that season, you see they made a "great" Sweet 16 run, but you almost never see who it was who knocked them out of the tourney. It's not mentioned any Hoosier I know; and if you do bring it up; they say something about the December game.I honestly don't care if they bring it up. It just reminds me of how we knocked them out of the tournament and went on to win the title.
Yeah. And that's what is even more hilarious. They think games like that are the be all and end all of it. Well sorry to break it to their pathetic pos fanbase, those games are an afterthought. You always want to play your best in March. Not worry about some game in the season. We beat them by 12 on a neutral floor. Those cowards were crying like dogs after the game and won't even admit. Freaking loser of a a fanbase.funny thing about that - if you ever read about that season, you see they made a "great" Sweet 16 run, but you almost never see who it was who knocked them out of the tourney. looks like it's upside down.To commemorate the win and the resurgence of Indiana Basketball, an artist painted the picture below and named it The Resurrection.

The inspiration for that masterpiece wasn't much better. Some people actually called this "art".

LOL But in all fairness, I suspect Tom Crean would like to kiss Watford on the mouth even if he'd missed that shot...I bet Tom Crean would like to kiss Watford on the mouth for making that shot.
