A quick comment on Coach Cal getting booed at the Final Four game between Wisconsin and Duke during the halftime introduction of the new Hall of Fame inductees .... while Coach Cal said he expected to be booed, I still find the veracity of the boos a bit low class.
I would like to think that had Bo Ryan been introduced at halftime as an inductee during a KY-Duke final that he would have received an ovation from the KY fans. For that matter, I would say that Coach K would receive an ovation. My sense is that UK fans appreciate and respect achievement and recognize it when they see it.
I found the whole episode pretty low class by the Badger and Blue Devil fans and others in attendance. Let's put it this way, had UK fans booed recipients is there any doubt that the media would criticize them for doing it .... instead, last night, the media mocked and laughed at it because it was Coach Cal.
