I would agree except there is at least one numbskull on this board still promising Reeves was just finishing up class work and would leave in August.

I believe he got on campus say the team and realized his fit with the team and knew he had a role and that combined with not being able to go anywhere probably pushed him to announce it

Or it could be that up to this point he made ZERO effort to say that the outcome (not drafted) wasn't what he wanted but that he was ready to improve on the things he was suggested (by scouts) he improve on. The guy doesn't want to be here, or he would have stated a lot sooner that he was back.
