As I gather, the end of this contact period is April 22 but LOIs can be signed up until May 20. Why would ESPN go ahead and schedule a recruiting special on April 21 with so many top prospects still uncommitted and no plans even set to announce?
Smart money would say they wouldn't waste their producing dollars without some insight that announcements (i.e. ratings boost) will be made on the 21st.
Newman is the exception since he isn't signing one but is there any info or sense in the recruiting world out there saying that at least some decisions will be made on ESPN? Hell, anyone have any predictions when the drama will end?
