SEC Nation showed a social media post from Davis a little earlier saying today was his last college game.

The point I think the OP is trying to make is it looks like no bowl game for Sweet Baby Ray.UK is his third school, already has a degree from Vandy, has accepted an invite from East-West Shrine game so it's been known from the get-go he was here for one year.
But Davis has also shown he can catch passes.Hard to run against a stacked D-Line and O-linemen who are getting gashed.
Can’t catch passes? Sorry dude but one of his strengths is his ability to catch the ballBut Davis has also shown he can catch passes.
Haha. Nice timing. Td Davis. But Davis has also shown he can catch passes.
I’m saying get the ball to Davis any way you have to! Yes he can catch passes!Haha. Nice timing. Td Davis.
He’s been a great pass catcher all year. What are you talking about ?
Sweet Baby for 6!!!I’m saying get the ball to Davis any way you have to! Yes he can catch passes!
The way he’s being used these last 2 games has been inexcusable. Likely cost UK the SC game.
Ray has terrible field vision, he wasn't hitting the holes and taking what the game was giving him. His snaps went down because of this. The way he’s being used these last 2 games has been inexcusable. Likely cost UK the SC game.
Ray has the best vision of a RB I’ve seen in a long time.Ray has terrible field vision, he wasn't hitting the holes and taking what the game was giving him. His snaps went down because of this.
I disagree. If you can't keep defenses honest with your passing game, then you will eventually get cover 1 and cover 0 all game long. Defenses basically keyed on Davis whenever he was in position to get touches, because he was one of the few consistently good players on offense. And we did a poor job at times making creative ways to get him the ball.Ray has terrible field vision, he wasn't hitting the holes and taking what the game was giving him. Yup.He pretty much saved the season for Stoops. Looking at 3-9 or 4-8 this year without Ray.
For example, yesterday in the 2nd he got the handoff, a hole opened up for him. Probably a 5 yrd gain at least. But he chose to bump it outside for a 1 yrd gain. That has been frequent for the last 6 weeksI disagree. If you can't keep defenses honest with your passing game, then you will eventually get cover 1 and cover 0 all game long. Ridiculous post.Ray has terrible field vision, he wasn't hitting the holes and taking what the game was giving him. His snaps went down because of this.
Davis played part of the year with a pretty significant thigh bruise, imagine that was part of his frustration. Still, he is a remarkable player, glad UK had him for a year and would guess it'll help getting another portal RB for '24. Do anticipate Davis skipping the bowl and really don't blame him.I am impressed by Davis' 1,000 yard season. All of us probably are. He is a helluva player. But it is fashionable these days for some players with NFL upside to skip bowl games. It has probably not been lost on most of you that the only recruited UK player who has skipped a bowl under Stoops was CRod, and he was reportedly dinged up. If my memory serves, all the other Stoops players who opted out of bowls were portal transfers. If that is not accurate, someone please correct me.
Davis has been at UK for one season. This is his third school. His tweets and his performance falloff suggest he has not been a happy camper. I assume he will opt out. As long as Ramon Jefferson doesn't opt out, this does not necessarily mean our other guys can't handle the bowl game. We will have DSK, Wilcox, and probably Jefferson and McClain. It's one game. As usual, the play of our OL will be the key. All of us noticed that our OL did not commit a penalty against UL. That is a remarkable one-game improvement.
