FAU is a school that I would have expected to take recruits from in the Joker years, but St. Thomas Aquinas is a big time school in Florida.

He had offers from all these schools and he committed FAU out of all the other Florida options? I don't really understand that.

Not surprising. I think UK pretty much knows who they want, it's now a matter of holding onto their commits and closing the deal on others.
